Scholarships which are not tied to specific universities

Unfortunately it is not yet common knowledge that there are a lot of university scholarships and grants available which are open to all students, regardless of the university they are studying at or their subject choice. Fortunately, you are one of the lucky people reading this article, so you have the opportunity to take advantage of this knowledge before it becomes commonplace!

However, having said that, there are very few scholarships which are completely open to everyone, as the awards are often tied in with the charitable objectives of the particular organisations. So whilst these scholarships are not tied to a particular university or subject, they might be looking for particular personal circumstances, achievements or interests in their scholars, which meet with the organisations charitable objectives.

Here is a small selection of those currently on our database. To find more, visit our database and select “No specific university” as the Institution and “No specific subject” as the Course.
