Here is a list of scholarships with an upcoming deadline in April.
Southwark Scholarship Scheme
Students who have been resident in Southwark for a minimum of three years and have a household income of less than £25,000. You must have a good academic record and have made a positive contribution to the community of Southwark. Application closing date 9th April
Freeths Legal Scholarship Scheme
You must be planning to study Law at university and should be currently in education in Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire or Northamptonshire. You must also achieve ABB at A'level or above. Application closing date 18th April
BeArt Presets Scholarship
Open to Yr13s who have accepted a place at university, current undergraduates and postgraduates. Applicants have to answer the question "How The BeArt Presets Academic Scholarship will impact your life?". Students worldwide are eligible to apply but you must be registered with an accredited university in your country. Applicaton closing date 1st April.
Activia Training Scholarship
You must be attending, or have secured a place, on an undergraduate or postgraduate programme, (full-time or part-time), at a recognised higher learning institution in the UK. To apply you have to submit a video or essay answering one of the questions given. Application closing date 30th April
RunnerClick Sports & Academic Scholarship
Open to all undergraduate or postgraduate students worldwide. You are required to submit an essay entitled "Staying active through sports can be a very beneficial part of your life in many different ways, for many different reasons." Application closing date 30th April.
University of Edinburgh Coca Cola Scholarship
For applicants from any country in the European Union, excluding the United Kingdom whose personal circumstances would make accepting an offer from the University of Edinburgh difficult this scholarship pays your tuition fees in full. Application closing date 3rd April.
Adam Architecture Travel Scholarship
Open to Architecture students currently studying for RIBA Part I up to 3 years after part II, on an accredited Degree or Postgraduate course or an equivalent qualification. The award is to fund their research, overseas travel and accommodation. The judges will be looking for a significant piece of original research work, and an outstanding contribution to architectural knowledge. Application closing date 26th April.
The Artists Scholarship and Arts Management Scholarships
These postgraduate scholarships are worth up to £25,000. Applicants must have or expect to have an offer on a Masters course from those listed on the website; be active in their local and/or faith communities and demonstrate a desire to develop intellectual and artistic skills within a secular/multi faith environment; be able to demonstrate long term commitment to community development through arts and culture work; Home/EU status. Application closing date 30th April.
